Cold Restoration: Antarctic Explorers’ Huts Have Been Saved

Stabilizing these old explorers’ huts in Antarctica must have been a bear of a job, and absolutely worth it. Good on the Antarctic Heritage Trust for taking on the job. 

The huts of Ernest Shackleton and other Antarctic were falling into great disrepair and the New Zealand-based group restored them to their condition as they were left. Go here to see video of the huts post restoration
