Patagonia has long been at the forefront of creating sustainable clothing, gear and environmental efforts that seem even more critical after recent events.
But their new Truth to Materials effort is something entirely new and on a whole other scale. The idea is to use reclaimed clothing to produce entirely new products. To close the loop as they say. Patagonia teamed up with various partners to capture material scraps from factories, discarded wool garnets from Italy, as well as damaged and returned items to Patagonia’s own facilities.
They’ve then taken all that material and converted into these beautiful pieces of gear. Color me impressed.
