I’ve long been an admirer of Tanner Goods. In short time, the Portland-based company has grown into one of the most recognized leather good companies in the country by producing beautiful wallets, belts and bags that only get better with age.
They are the perfect example of one of my core beliefs that we should all be buying smarter. That means investing with our dollars and spending our hard-earned money on things that are made well and that will last. If we think of buying for the long term, we end of saving money and our dollars naturally flow to the makers and producers of high quality goods.
Simple wants to help customers save for the long haul with a batch of tools that make budgeting an saving a lot easier. And like Tanner Goods, design is critical at Simple. Click over to the Simple site and you’ll see what banking today can and should look and feel like.
The Simple Wallet folds origami style and reflects the craft, design and endurance of both companies. Comment below, or like or comment this Hand & Eye Instagram photo, and I’ll pick a random winner to send a wallet to. Your choice of leather or felt.
