Bovina is a tiny farm/cow town up in the Catskills with a couple nice Airbnb offerings. It's tucked up in its own quiet little valley far from the signal of any cell towers, or city light pollution. A couple small streams—too shallow to swim in, but good for wading—trickle around the open fields, and the sunsets that follow the regular afternoon showers supply the day's drama. Needless to say, it's a nice spot for photography. I wish I'd remembered my tripod mount, but in a pinch a lawn chair did the trick.
Crazy how you can forget what it's like seeing stars every day when you live the City.
