Found this one over at The All Night Listening Post, and figured it struck the right notes for easing back into the New Year.
A lot is always said online about New Year's resolutions. I'll refrain from posting my personal ones, but I will say this: After a fairly frenetic two years blogging, taking pictures, launching companies, killing companies, consulting, writing, surfing, traveling and grilling barkers on the beach, I intend to slow things down a bit and, well, live more deliberately.
I ended last year with the most successful post I've done in two years of the Hand & Eye. It was a success not just because it got a lot of page views and was shared all over the place, but I because it meant something significant. I spent a lot of time on it and it resonated with people. These things are of course intertwined and cannot be separated.
For what it's worth, doing more of these posts is one thing I'll be aiming for this year, as well as some larger projects that I'm not quite ready to reveal yet.
Thanks for reading and thanks for being part of this voyage.
